If your sink or shower drain is draining slowly or stopped altogether, visit a hardware store near you. There are many plastic cleaning tools you can use to clean the pipes; you can also use liquid plumber products, but only use those that have been certified safe for residential plumbing systems.
If you've lost electrical power in your home...
Please call your utility company. There are a number of potential causes for the issue you're facing, including problems with your billing or temporary outages because of bad weather.

No Hot Water
If you don't have sufficient hot water in your rental home, locate your heater and check the settings on the tank. Does everything look correct?
Can you verify that the pilot light is lit or the electrical power is functioning properly?
If you make any updates to the settings, wait 20 minutes before testing the water temperature again.
No Heat or A/C
If your heat or air conditioning isn't working properly, please check the settings on the central thermostat in your property.
It's easy to accidentally make a change that causes the system to function unexpectedly. Reset your HVAC system to attempt to resolve the problem.
